Yoel Glick was born in Toronto, Canada. He received his BA from the U. of T. and rabbinic ordination from Yeshiva University in New York as well as from the late Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach.
In the eighties, Yoel moved to Israel where he founded Hochmat Halev (Wisdom of the Heart), a center for the study of Jewish spirituality in the old city of Jerusalem.
In the nineties, he moved to southern France and explored the wisdom of other religions - notably Hinduism, Buddhism and Christianity.
Today, Yoel divides his time between France and Israel, where he teaches Jewish meditation and spirituality. He also travels on a regular basis to Canada.
